Balance Recordings are proud to make a meaningful commitment to a brighter future.
We ensure that all of our activity is balanced by planting trees that restore biodiversity, support local communities, and are designed to last at least 100 years in harmony with the true lifecycle of CO₂.
Our forest is in the Truksinasta Territory of Honduras.
All trees planted are native species, carefully selected for local ecology and long-term resilience. Each tree is recorded and monitored.
A Sister Tree, Planted in the Forest of Marston Vale, UK
Within every carbon tonne, we also plant one tree in the UK. This isn’t instead of other plantings, just something we can visit slightly closer to home.
Our chosen UK forest is The Forest of Marston Vale – an extraordinary testament to the power of vision and collaboration. For over 20 years, this initiative has transformed 61 square miles of Bedfordshire into a vibrant mosaic of woodlands and green spaces, offering a haven for nature and people alike.
This location holds special significance to us as it served as the case study and first planting for the pioneering Balance methodology, developed in partnership with Ninja Tune.
